About Us

The William Davidson Institute (WDI) is sponsoring 21 Summer Fellows as part of its Global Impact Internship Program this summer. The 21 Fellows are working in 14 countries over 3 continents, including 1 U.S. location. The students represent 8 schools and colleges at the University of Michigan: the Ross School of Business, the Ford School of Public Policy, the School of Natural Resources and the Environment, the School of Public Health, the UM Medical School, Law School, the School of Information, and Taubman College of Urban Planning.

Students work with global NGOs, private sector companies, social enterprises, and start-ups developing business and marketing strategies, impact assessments, improving vaccine and medical care supply-chain challenges in emerging market countries. Due to confidentiality of the projects, most are not able to discuss their work in detail.
